Obstacles To The Implementation Of The South Korean Electronic Customs System Uni-pass In Algeria: Comparative Study With Ghana

Abstract

This study aims to shed lights on the key challenges encountering the implementation of the South Korean electronic Customs system UNI-PASS in Algeria, following a comparative study with Ghana, based on secondary data. Finding suggested that inadequate ICT infrastructure, the absence of robust legal framework and organizational challenges including delays are the key challenges that hinder the implementation of the electronic customs system ALCES (based on UNI-PASS system) in Algeria, thus addressing these challenges is pivotal to ensuring the successful implementation of the UNI-PASS system
