This study aims to analyze the level of interdependence between the various branches of the manufacturing sector in Algeria, and to identify the branches that have the ability to deepen the economic interdependence to give them developmental priority, which would contribute to diversifying the sources of income of the national economy. According to the method of analyzing the inputs and outputs for the year 2016 (the last year for which data were available), the results showed that the sector lacks a sufficient number of branches that can deepen the entaglement between its various branches, as the leather and shoes industry branch is the only one that can deepen the forward and back entaglement, while all The branch of iron, metal, mechanical, electrical, and electronic industries, the branch of chemistry, rubber, plastic, and the branch of textile industries are characterized by their high ability to deepen the back entaglement, and the while the mines and quarries branches. As for the rest of the branches, they are characterized by their weak ability to deepen the back and forward entaglement.
