The development of vibrant startup ecosystems is the key for innovation, employment and inclusive growth. In Algeria, accompaniment agencies support entrepreneurs, yet fragmented coordination as well as lack of efficiency slow ecosystem maturity. The UK by contrast, has integrated several public private mechanisms, innovation funding, and local networks that are currently contributing positively to startups. This paper explores lessons Algeria can learn from the UK using a qualitative, comparative approach based on institutional and ecosystem theories. It analyzes policy frameworks, institutional coordination and support mechanisms in both nations. The findings identify the alignment in governance, transfer of knowledge, and inter-agency collaboration. The study concludes with policy recommendations to enhance the Algeria's ecosystem by improving its coordination, stakeholder involvement and innovation-driven support systems.
