• Abstract: The Arab League was established by independent Arab countries in 1945, and a charter was created through the agreement of the member states, consisting of 20 articles that defined the frameworks governing its work and the structures that formed it. The Arab League had several tasks, including supporting liberation issues not only in Arab countries but also worldwide. This stems from its foreign policy based on opposing colonialism wherever it exists, especially in Arab countries, as it did with the Maghreb countries, where it played a role in supporting and unifying their struggle against shared colonialism. The Algerian cause received the most support from the Arab League among the issues of the Maghreb countries, as it persisted for a long time, and the League supported it at all its stages, thus achieving part of its mission.
