Amidst rapid and evolving global technological advancements, and the urgent necessity imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Algeria was compelled to move towards digitalization. This led to a swift acceleration of its widespread implementation, the creation of a Ministry of Digitalization and Statistics, and the adoption of a national digital transformation strategy as a driving force for economic takeoff and the achievement of sustainable development goals in line with the 2030 agenda. Digital transformation is a key step towards effectively achieving sustainable development, as the digitalization of various economic, social, environmental, and institutional sectors enhances their progress and efficiency. It allows for superior and distinguished performance in less time, with less effort, and at a lower cost. This study aims to shed light on the manifestations and features of digital transformation in the telecommunications and postal sectors and its role in achieving sustainable development.
