The Relationship Between Demographic Dynamics And Health Resources In Algeria

Abstract
This research aims to examine the extent to which health resources in Algeria respond to population dynamics by estimating the relationship between the population size and various health resources (both material and human) during the period from 2000 to 2023. For this purpose, ready-made data from the Ministry of Health and Population as well as the National Office of Statistics were utilized. After calculating the correlation coefficient between the population variable and other health-related variables (such as the number of physicians and hospitals…), the study found that there is a health strategy that responds to population growth. However, some shortcomings remain, including a decline in the number of hospitals, a shortage of public-sector dentists, and an imbalance between the population size and the Ministry of Health’s budget. يهدف هذه البحث إلى معرفة مدى إستجاية الموارد الصحية في الجزائر للديناميكية السكان ،و هذا من خلال قياس العلاقة بين عدد السكان و مختلف الموارد الصحية (المادية و البشرية)خلال الفترة الممتدة من سنة 2000 إلى سنة 2023. لذلك تم العمل على معطيات جاهزة لوزارة الصحة و السكان و كذا الديوان الوطني للإحصائيات.و بعد حساب معامل الإرتباط بين متغير عدد السكان و باقي المتغيرات الصحية (عدد الأطباء،عدد المستشفيات...)توصلنا أن هناك إستراتجية صحية تستجيب للنمو السكاني لكن تبقى بعض النقائص منها تراجع عدد المستشفيات و نقص في عدد أطباء الأسنان في القطاع العام و إختلال التوازن بين عدد السكان و ميزانية وزارة الصحة.
