Abstract: Moses Maimonides is considered a son of Islamic civilization within its general scientific context. He lived in a thriving Islamic cultural environment and was influenced by many Muslim philosophers, whom he mentioned, such as Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and Ibn Bajjah. He also learned astronomy from Ibn Aflah al-Ishbili and studied medicine in Andalusia. Maimonides was not only a philosopher and physician, but also a Jewish reformer, as is evident in his writings, which covered numerous intellectual fields, which most scholars divide into Sharia, philosophy, and medicine. His philosophy represents a link between Islamic and Jewish philosophy, blending Jewish religious heritage with philosophical rationalism derived from Islamic and Greek philosophy. His primary goal was to reconcile reason and religion, and he was greatly influenced by Muslim philosophers, particularly with regard to theology, metaphysics, and the interpretation of religious texts. This influence is clearly evident in his book, The Guide of the Perplexed, where he attempts to address the contradictions between Jewish law and rational philosophy in a manner similar to the Muslim approach of combining Sharia and reason Maimonides contributed to transmitting the Islamic philosophical heritag to Jewish and Latin Christian thought, making him a cultural bridge between civilizations. A study of his philosophy reveals the fertile interaction between religions and philosophies in the Middle Ages and emphasizes the role of Islamic civilization in shaping European rational thought. Thus, the philosophy of Moses Maimonides represents an example of intellectual cross-pollination between cultures and embodies the importance of dialogue between religion and philosophy in building a shared human vision.
