This article endeavors to uncover facets of the rich expressivity inherent in the Berber language, aiming to lay the groundwork for its future definition. Distinguishing itself from prior studies that relied solely on verbal data within a narrow monodisciplinary scope, this work adopts a novel, broader perspective by utilizing an interdisciplinary approach alongside a comprehensive, pan-Berber multimodal corpus. It commences with a state-of-the-art review to gain a deeper understanding of the subject, highlighting the limitations of past research, which has perpetuated the reliance on monodisciplinary methods and delayed the phenomenon’s precise definition. Subsequently, it introduces an innovative methodology that integrates three distinct approaches—both conventional and novel—for analyzing the constructed pan-Berber, verbocorporeal corpus. The article culminates in presenting and elucidating elements of multimodal and multichannel expressivity.
