Organizational Adaptation And Entrepreneurial Success In Algeria: The Case Of Profilor Through The Lens Of Contingency Theory

Authors : Zekri Mahammed .

Abstract

This article explores how the Algerian company PROFILOR, led by Issad Rebrab, aligned its organizational and strategic choices with the specific constraints of its environment. Drawing exclusively from Hafsi’s (2013) work, the study illustrates the practical application of contingency theory principles in a context marked by administrative restrictions and major economic challenges. The analysis highlights key adaptation levers: structural flexibility, vertical integration, versatile technologies, and a strong entrepreneurial culture. Practical recommendations are provided for managers operating in similar environments
