Abstract

Abstract: Undoubtedly, the integration of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) into mainstream schools and their inclusion alongside neurotypical peers contributes to significant positive psychological and social outcomes for children with autism. Such inclusion supports the development of cognitive, emotional, psychological, and linguistic growth. These children receive appropriate educational programs in specialized classrooms while benefiting, as much as possible, from available resources and an adapted classroom environment within regular schools. Academic inclusion involves educating children with autism in settings that closely resemble the general educational environment, allowing them to participate and interact with their peers in recreational, athletic, and artistic activities. In general, the aim of inclusive education is to meet the unique educational needs of children with disabilities within the framework of mainstream schooling, using tailored methods, curricula, and instructional tools, all delivered by qualified and trained educational staff. This study seeks to explore the extent to which children with autism, enrolled in mainstream schools, acquire social skills and adaptive behavior—two critical pillars for academic success and social development. The exploratory phase of the study also aims to identify the characteristics of the sample population in order to define and refine the hypotheses of the main research study. The significance of the current study lies in its focus on one of the core components of school integration for children with autism: the acquisition of social skills and adaptive behavior within a regular educational environment alongside typical peers and teachers. lملخص الدراسة مما لا شك فيه ان دمج اطفال طيف التوحد فى المدارس العادية ، واشراكهم مع اقرانهم الاسوياء يساهم فى تحقيق انعكاسات نفسية واجتماعية ايجابية مع اطفال طيف التوحد ومن شأنهما ان يعززا جوانب النمو العقلي والنفسي والانفعالي واللغوي ، حيث يتلقى هؤلاء الاطفال البرامج التعليمية المناسبة لهم فى الصفوف الخاصة مع الاستعانة ما امكن بالوسائل المتوفرة وبتهيئة البيئة الصفية العادية فىي المدارس العادية ، فالدمج الاكاديمي يتم من خلاله تعليم الاطفال التوحديين فى بيئة قريبة من البيئة التربوية العادية ، والتي تتيح لهم المشاركة والتفاعل مع اقرانهم العاديين في بعض الانشطة الترفيهية والرياضية والفنية، كما يهدف الدمج بشكل عام الى توفير الاحتياجات التربوية الخاصة بالطفل ذوي الاعاقة ضمن اطار المدرسة العادية ووفقا لأساليب ومناهج ووسائل دراسية تعليمية يشرف على تقديمها كادر تعليمي مؤهل ومدرب، وتهدف الدراسة الى التعرف على مدى إكتساب الطفل التوحدي المتمدرس في المدارس العادية، للمهارات الإجتماعية والسلوك التكيفي، اللذان يمثلان أهم محاور نجاح الطفل مدرسياً، وضمان تطوره إجتماعياً ‘ كذلك تهدف الدراسة الاشتطلاعية الى التعرف على الخصائص المتعلقة بافراد العينة من اجل تحديد وضبط فرضيات الدراسة ؛وكان الهدف من هذه الدراسة الاستطلاعية التعرف على الخصائص المتعلقة بافراد العينة من اجل تحديد وضبط الفرضيات للدراسة الأساسية ‘تكمن أهمية الدراسة الحالية كونها تلقي الضوء على أهم المهارات الأساسية للادماج المدرسي لأطفال التوحد، ألا وهي المهارات الإجتماعية والسلوك التكيفي في إطار تمدرسه في بيئة تعليمية عادية رفقة أطفال ومعلمين عاديين
