Blockchain Applications In Islamic Banking: Advantages & Challenges

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Blockchain technology in developing Islamic banking operations by examining its potential to enhance transparency, security, and Shariah compliance, along with adoption challenges. Results indicate that Blockchain offers promising opportunities for Islamic banks to innovate financial products and improve operational efficiency, though technical, legal, and Shariah-related challenges must be addressed.
