Abstract
This study examines the Netflix series Lupin's adaptation, focusing on the transformation of the Arsène Lupin character, as portrayed by Omar Sy, within a contemporary French setting. Integrating comparative literature, film studies, sociology, and pragmatics, the analysis delves into issues of stereotypes, social injustices, and cultural representation. Our objective is to conduct a comparative assessment of Maurice Leblanc's foundational work with its modernized version to assess their impact on the audience.
