فكر ديفيد هيوم: حُضور وامتداد David Hume's Thought: Presence And Extension

الملخص
أدرك الـحُضور الـهيومي بعضًا من أوجه الفكر الفلسفي الـمُعاصر، بالأخصّ الفلسفات التـي تضمّنت حـمولاتـها دلالات نفسية وتَـمجيدًا لقيمة الفرد والطبيعة الإنسانية، وكذا فلسفة الدين. ولا نعـنـي بـهذا أن "هيوم" سَيّدًا على الفكر الـمُعاصر بتشعّباته سواء ما طرحته فلسفة العِلم أو التيارات الفلسفية عامة، وأنه لولاَ أفكاره لَـمَا تشكّلت العديد من طُروحات العقل الـمُعاصر، وإنّـمَا يأتـي القَصَد للتدليل على إسهامه وقيمة رؤاه ومقاييسه، وأن الأفكار لا تـموت أو تزول بزوال الرؤوس؛ أيّ الأجساد بل تظلّ حيّة بـحركية على حَسَب قُـوّة العُـقول. The Humean presence grasped some aspects of contemporary philosophical thought, particularly those philosophies whose connotations included psychological connotations and glorification of the value of the individual and human nature, as well as the philosophy of religion. This does not mean that Hume is a master of contemporary thought in all its ramifications, whether presented by the philosophy of science or philosophical movements in general, nor that without his ideas, many of the propositions of contemporary reason would not have taken shape. Rather, the intention is to demonstrate his contribution and the value of his visions and standards, and to demonstrate that ideas do not die or disappear with the disappearance of heads—that is, bodies—but rather remain alive and dynamic according to the strength of the mind.
