الملخص
إن اهتمام أبو القاسم سعد الله بقضايا وطنه تاريخا وثقافة وفكرا وأدبا، وبذله الكثير من الجهد والوقت والتفكير في البحث والتنقيب والتدوين والتوثيق والتحقيق والشرح والتحليل في سبيل ذلك، وإبداء رأيه وموقفه كتابة ومشافهة من كل ما يطرح منها، خاصة القضايا التاريخية والفكرية والثقافية وحتى السياسية أحيانا. ولكنه مع كل هذا الاهتمام بقضايا وطنه الجزائر، لم يكن بمعزل عن قضايا أمته العربية الإسلامية، إذ لم يكن مستوى وحجم اهتمامه بها بأقل من اهتمامه بقضايا الوطن، ويأتي على رأس هذه القضايا قضية فلسطين، حيث كان هم القضية الفلسطينية بكل أوجه معاناتها حاضرا لدى الدكتور سعد الله مبكرا فيما كتبه حولها من مقالات، وأبداه تجاهها من مواقف، وأنجزه ونشره عنها من دراسات ووثائق، ليس من باب الترف الفكري بقدر ما هو شعور بواجب وأداء لرسالة - بما يملكه من قدرات علمية وفكرية- نحو أمته وقضاياها القومية وفي مقدمتها قضية فلسطين. “Abu al-Qasim Sa‘dallah’s dedication to the issues of his homeland—its history, culture, ideas, and literature—was remarkable. He devoted much time, effort, and thought to researching, uncovering, documenting, verifying, commenting on, and analyzing these matters. He freely expressed his opinions both in writing and in speech on all topics, especially on historical, intellectual, cultural, and at times even political issues. Yet despite this deep interest in Algeria’s affairs, he was not indifferent to the concerns of his broader Arab Islamic community. His level and intensity of engagement with these issues was no less than his commitment to national matters. Foremost among them was the Palestinian cause. Dr. Sa‘dallah was early and consistently engaged with the Palestinian issue—writing numerous articles on its diverse sufferings, adopting clear and firm stances, and producing studies and documents on the subject—not as an intellectual luxury, but as a sense of duty and the fulfillment of a mission. With his scholarly capabilities, he stood in solidarity with his nation’s causes, with the Palestinian issue at the forefront.
