Authors : Seladji Mohamed El Amine . Abbar Omar .

Abstract

In medicine, it improves diagnostic accuracy, supports clinical decisions, monitors chronic conditions, and predicts diseases by analyzing large datasets. Machine learning enhances medical imaging and lab test analysis, reducing errors and improving efficiency. In pharmaceuticals, AI accelerates drug discovery and clinical trials by identifying potential compounds and optimizing study design. It also enables personalized medicine through genetic data analysis and powers surgical robots, remote monitoring, and AI-based consultations. However, challenges remain, including ethical issues, data privacy concerns, regulatory gaps, and limited professional training. Successful integration requires clear standards, interdisciplinary collaboration, and effective legal frameworks.
