This study examined class conflicts as highlighted in selected Tanzanian young adult novels. Through Marxist social critical theory we examine qualitatively class conflicts as phenomenon occurring in the novels. We argue that disability in as depicted in some literary work is social construct intensified with capitalism. We also observe that social void of knowledge on albinism places people with such skin condition into a class that is in conflict with society. Furthermore we argue that as a class of young adults are growing, they are in a race of running towards what they are going to be. Parents like, spectators, have the role of encouraging them to win rather than being an obstacle to their running. We further observe that the selected young adult novels highlight class conflict that involves different perception on the issues of sex and love. Finally we see that street children are a class of people in Tanzanian society which reveal a conflict between young adults in rich family and poor family.
