The Concession As A Mode Of Rational Water Use In Algerian Law

Abstract
We highlight water as an essential environmental element deserving protection, particularly due to its association with the natural hydraulic public domain. Law 05-12 aims to balance conflicting interests regarding water use, emphasizing the importance of concession contracts as a regulatory tool. The presentation is divided into two parts: firstly, an exploration of the concept of concession outlined in Law 05-12, and secondly, an examination of the legal framework surrounding these concessions
