Abstract
Digital documentary research, underpinned by appropriate plans and strategies, empowers researchers to effectively navigate the digital landscape using available tools and methods for sourcing contemporary, verifiable information. This research paradigm leverages tools such as search engines, open archives, specialized portals, among others, which expedite the retrieval of information. These instruments aid researchers in systematically and technically delineating their research boundaries by ensuring efficient identification and retrieval of requisite data. Crucial to this process is the researcher's information literacy, which encompasses familiarity with diverse sources and the adeptness necessary for proficient research execution. Additionally, researchers are expected to be versed in document location strategies, exhibit distinctive investigative traits, and utilize information technology adeptly in their inquiries. Staying updated with technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, further enriches the research quality.
