Abstract

This research paper highlights the critical role of creativity, innovation, and technological progress in the food industry and their significant impact on addressing food security and ensuring future food safety—issues that rank among the most urgent challenges of our era. A key finding of the study underscores the potential of innovations such as advanced analytical methods, gene-editing technologies, and cutting-edge food production techniques in building more efficient and resilient food systems. Additionally, major scientific breakthroughs like Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) hold great promise for improving the identification, analysis, and management of potential risks. These advancements not only help prevent and mitigate hazards within the food supply chain but also play a pivotal role in safeguarding the future of food safety.
