كُتب الرّحلات العلمية مصدرا مُكمّلا لكُتبِ التّراجم والأعلام (رحلات الرُّعيني وابن جابر الوادي آشي والبلوي نموذجا) Scientific Travel Books As A Complementary Source To Biographical And Encyclopedic Works (the Journeys Of Al-ru‘ayni, Ibn Jābir Al-wādī āshī, And Al-balawī As Case Studies)

الملخص
يتكلم هذا المقال عن أهمية كتب الرحلات العلمية في الكتابة التاريخية والأدبية، إذْ لا غنى للباحث في حقل التّاريخ أو الأدب عنها، فالرّحلات العلميّة على غرار الرحلات الأخر، أخذت نصيبها من الكتابة لدى الرّحالة المشارقة والمغاربة، ولعلّ من بين أهمّ الرّحلات التي قام بها المغاربة من أجل الاستزادة من العلم والأخذ عن الشّيوخ والعُلماء، رحلتي: الرّعيني الإشبيلي (ت666ه)، وابن جابر الوادي آشي (ت749ه) إلى بلاد المشرق والغرب الإسلامي؛ ورحلة خالد البلوي (ت780ه) إلى بلاد المشرق، وممّا ميّز هذه الرّحلات، احتوائها لتراجم العديد من الشّيوخ وطلبة العلم التي قد لا نجد الكثير منها في كتب الأعلام والتّراجم المشهورة، أضف إلى ذلك أنّ أهم ما يميّز التراجم التي جاءت في كتب الرّحلات العلمية أنّها سُجّلت بحياد تام لأنّ أغلب مؤلّفي هذه الكتب لم يقوموا بتدوين المعلومات الخاصة بهؤلاء الأعلام المترجَمِ لهم إلاّ بعد وفاتهم، ممّا يعطي لها سمة خاصة تميّزها عن باقي الترجمات التي وردت في المصنفات الأخرى ومن هنا تأتي أهميّة كتب الرحلات العلمية كمصدر مُكمّلٍ لما أغفلته كُتب التّراجم والأعلام. This article discusses the significance of scientific travel books in historical and literary writing. Researchers in the fields of history and literature cannot do without them, as scientific travels, like other types of journeys, have been extensively documented by both Eastern and Western travelers. Among the most notable journeys undertaken by Moroccan scholars in pursuit of knowledge and learning from esteemed teachers and scholars are the travels of al-Ru‘ayni al-Ishbili (d. 666 AH) and Ibn Jābir al-Wādī Āshī (d. 749 AH) to the Islamic East and West, as well as Khālid al-Balawī’s (d. 780 AH) journey to the East. What distinguishes these travels is their inclusion of biographies of numerous scholars and students, many of whom are scarcely mentioned in well-known biographical dictionaries. Furthermore, the most notable aspect of the biographies recorded in these scientific travel books is their impartiality. The authors of these works typically did not document information about the scholars they wrote about until after their passing, which lends these accounts a unique quality that sets them apart from biographies found in other compilations. Hence, scientific travel books serve as a complementary source that fills gaps left by traditional biographical and encyclopedic works.
