This study explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) transforms education through applications like personalized learning (e.g., adaptive platforms improving proficiency by 60% in underserved schools), automated grading (92% alignment with human graders in STEM), and intelligent tutoring systems (boosting test scores by 1.5 grade levels). While AI enhances efficiency and accessibility, challenges include algorithmic bias (e.g., 1.7x higher false risk labels for Black students), data privacy breaches (68% of edtech apps share student data), and equity gaps (only 14% of low-income schools have AI infrastructure). The study advocates for human-centered AI design, emphasizing transparency, educator collaboration, and policies to fund open-source tools and global ethical standards.
