The study focused on articulatory and phonological disorders in children with Down's syndrome. To carry out this study, a clinical study was carried out on four (04) children with Down's syndrome at the Ahbab Allah association in Zahana school (Oran), using the following tools: observation, interview, human drawing test, and articulatory and phonological assessment. The presence of articulatory and phonological disorders in a child with Down's syndrome was found as follows: - Pronunciation disorders represented by: replacement of letters, deletion of letters and distortion of letters. - Phonological disorders represented by: omission of phonemes, errors in the pronunciation of phonemes (deletion, substitution, addition and inversion), mixing of similar phonemes, distortion of augmented letters. On the basis of these findings, a number of recommendations have been put forward, the most important of which are: the need for early treatment of children with Down's syndrome, and the provision of the necessary resources to assess and treat speech and phonology disorders in children.
