Abstract

This research examines archival records of Algeria’s Sahar from the colonial period, emphasizing their role in understanding southern Algerian’s social and political dynamics and the long-term impacts of colonization. Il aims to map the archives’ locations in the National Archives Center of Algeria and French national archival centers while identifying key themes to assist researchers in broadening their studies. the study underscores the importance of both paper and digital research tools in facilitating historical researchers and deepening knowledge of the region, offering scholars to investigate previously underexplored topics
