الملخص
Abstract : This article in the field of cultural anthropology aims to study the subject of different perceptions and uses of the body in societies through an analytical reading of the book Body Anthropology and Modernism by sociologist and anthropologist David Lebreton. The human body is an anthropological subject, revealing how it is perceived as biological, while being cultural and social. Thus, the rituals and nature of practices associated with different uses of this body can be understood and supported, as well as the motivations for these practices, Especially for youth youth where emphasis is placed on how cultural and social body perceptions affect their daily practices. Young people are often at a stage of social and cultural training that affects the way they deal with their bodies, whether through personal care, practices such as sport, or even in situations such as cosmetic procedures or diets. These social perceptions and body applications contribute to a deeper understanding of different cultures and people’s relationships with their bodies in modern times.
