This study aims to shed light on a pivotal issue related to concerning the history of the Fourth State in general and the Medea region in particular, as the latter was marked by distinctive revolutionary activity. However, this activity assumed a different from than usual, as this political and revolutionary activity was led by a new organization represented by the Islamic Scouts. The latter demonstrated a deep-rooted national spirit that aimed at getting rid of colonial domination. It was the Medea Scouts, whose first signs of establishment appeared since the third decade of the twentieth century, and it continued to follow its reformist, educational and political path despite the stumbling blocks and obstacles that French colonialism continued to create in an attempt to paralyze the activity of the Medea Scouts. However, determination and resolve remained with the scouting elements who continued their scouting activity under the name of the Fida Regiment. With the outbreak of the liberation revolution, the Islamic Scouts in Medea were present providing material and moral support and did not hesitate to provide dozens of scouts, most of whom fell in the field of honor. Thus, the Islamic Scouts in Medea were among the organizations that had a firm imprint on the national struggle.
