Quality Of Life In Patients With Hypertension

Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the level of quality of life within a sample of patients with hypertension and to search for differences in quality of life according to age and gender. To test the study hypotheses, we use the abbreviated Quality of Life Scale(WHOQOL), consisting of four dimensions (physical dimension, psychological dimension, relationship dimension, and environmental dimension). We find that hypertensive patients have an average level of quality of life, we found that there are differences in the quality of life in patients with high blood pressure due to the age variable and gender in favor of males
