Abstract
This study aims to examine the state of the Algerian economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic and its impacts on economic security across various institutions and sectors. It emphasizes the key strategies and national policies implemented by the Algerian government to confront and combat the virus, aiming to mitigate its economic repercussions. The study particularly focuses on the consequences of the dramatic decline in hydrocarbon prices, including gas and oil, which has markedly influenced the revenue and income streams of the national budget. تسعى هذه الورقة البحثية إلى تحليل واقع الاقتصاد الجزائري في ظل تحديات جائحة كورونا (كوفيد-19)، والنظر في تأثيراتها المتنوعة على الأمن الاقتصادي للمؤسسات والقطاعات المختلفة. كما تهدف الدراسة إلى بحث الإجراءات والسياسات الوطنية التي اعتمدتها الجزائر لمواجهة وكبح جماح الفيروس، والحد من التأثيرات الاقتصادية السلبية، خصوصاً في ظل الانخفاض الحاد في أسعار المحروقات مثل الغاز والبترول، والذي كان له تأثير بالغ على الإيرادات والدخل العام للدولة
