Authors : Sebda Nasrine . Yahiaoui Habib .

Abstract

Technical students require specialized English proficiency to succeed in global professional environments. This article explores the design of professional English programs tailored to the linguistic and career-specific needs of technical learners. By integrating theoretical frameworks such as English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) with practical strategies, it proposes a curriculum model that enhances communication skills in technical contexts. Using a case study approach, the study highlights effective pedagogical methods and provides detailed practical examples, such as report writing and simulated meetings. The findings emphasize the importance of context-specific curricula to bridge the gap between technical expertise and professional communication, ensuring students are prepared for global workplaces.
