Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) at the university requires specific skills. However, current university training does not effectively prepare future teachers for the demands of the field. Faced with this reality, this article questions the relevance of current training programs and explores the interest of integrating a "competency framework" as a strategic tool to prepare future FLE teachers for their profession. We hypothesize that mastery of teaching practices does not rely solely on experience or disciplinary theory, but on the development of multiple and evolving competencies.
