Socialization Of Childhood Through The Media .... Radio Is A Model.

Authors : Rezaiguia Hichem .

Abstract

Children's programs on the radio receive significant attention in both state and government-run broadcasting stations worldwide. This interest can be explained by two key factors. First, children represent the future of nations and societies. Second, radio can play a crucial and influential role alongside other social institutions involved in children social upbringing, such as the family, mosque, community organizations, schools, mass media, and other reference groups like friends and peers. Based on the above mentioned, both local and national radio stations dedicate a range of programs specifically designed for children, focusing on their social upbringing. These programs are carefully considered, planned, executed, and evaluated according to scientific, ethical, educational, and psychological standards. All of these efforts aim to achieve a single overarching goal: the proper social development of children in all its dimensions, forms, and levels.
