The Role Of Civil Society In Promoting Participatory Democracy

Abstract
Participatory democracy is today one of the most common concepts in the field of political science and even in the media, so it is often used in many political topics, especially regarding its relationship with civil society and its role in improving participatory democracy. We also find participatory democracy linked to several concepts such as governance and political participation, that is, all concepts related to democratic transformation, and it turns out that civil society plays an important role in improving participatory democracy, since it is the link between authority and citizens and improves democratic performance, which produces true participatory governance.
