ملخص: تروم دراستنا هذه إلى الكشف عن تجليات الديستوبيا واليوتوبيا في رواية سرادق الحلم والفجيعة لعز الدين جلاوجي، كما تحاول الكشف عن الدلالات الخفيفة والرمزية لتمظهرات المدينة وذلك عبر الإجابة عن الإشكالية التالية: ماهي الصورة التي رسمها جلاوجي لفضاء المدينة في روايته؟ وماهي الدلالات والإيحاءات التي حملتها؟ لتصل دراستنا إلى نتيجة مفادها نجاح جلاوجي في رسم الفضاء الديستوبي واليوتوبي وتسخيره لبث رسائل مشفرة تدعوا إلى الوعي وايقاظ الضمير. Abstract : This study aims to reveal the manifestations of dystopia and utopia in the novel The Marquee of Dream and Bereavement by Izz al-Din Jalawji. It also attempts to reveal the subtle and symbolic connotations of the city’s appearances by answering the following problem: What is the picture that Jalawji drew of the city space in his novel? What are the connotations and implications that it carries? Our study arrives at the conclusion that Jaloghi succeeded in drawing the dystopian and utopian space and harnessing it to broadcast encrypted messages calling for awareness and awakening conscience. Résumé : Cette étude vise à révéler les manifestations de la dystopie et de l'utopie dans le roman Le Chapiteau du rêve et du deuil d'Izz al-Din Jalawji. Elle tente également de révéler les connotations subtiles et symboliques des apparences de la ville en répondant à la problématique suivante : Quelle est la l'image que Jalawji a dessinée de l'espace urbain dans son roman ? Quelles sont les connotations et les implications que cela comporte ? Notre étude arrive à la conclusion que Jaloghi a réussi à dessiner l’espace dystopique et utopique et à l’exploiter pour diffuser des messages cryptés appelant à la prise de conscience et à l’éveil des consciences.
