Abstract
The following study aims to highlight the role of information technology in enhancing financial market efficiency. The descriptive and historical approach is adopted to understand all the foundations and concepts related to information technology. Subsequently, the study delves into market efficiency and its requirements, shedding light on the relationship between the variables. The study has concluded that the adoption of information technology plays a significant role in enhancing financial market efficiency, leveraging the importance and characteristics of available information, as well as the advantages provided by electronic trading. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز دور تكنولوجيا المعلومات في الرفع من كفاءة الأسواق المالية، و قد تم اعتماد المنهج الوصفي و التاريخي للتعرف على جميع الأسس و المفاهيم المتعلقة بتكنولوجيا المعلومات، ثم تم التطرق إلى كفاءة السوق المالي و متطلبات تحقيقها و منه تسليط الضوء على العلاقة بين المتغيرين، حيث تم التوصل إلى أن تبني تكنولوجيا المعلومات له دور كبير في تحسين كفاءة السوق المالي من خلال أهمية و خصائص المعلومات المتوفرة و كذلك ما يوفره التداول الالكتروني من مزايا.
