Algeria's Cybersecurity Strategy: Defensive Techniques And Preventive Measures To Counter Cyber Threats

Abstract
Algeria's cybersecurity policy is an essential part of the national strategy to preserve national security, protect digital infrastructure and ensure the safety of sensitive information and data from increasing cyber threats in cyberspace. Through its strategy, Algeria seeks to take a set of defensive and preventive measures and mechanisms to build national capabilities in the field of cybersecurity, including specialized agencies and bodies to monitor cybersecurity, the legal framework to ensure the security of the information system permanently and continuously, as well as strengthening international cooperation and raising public awareness of the importance of cybersecurity in Algeria. The study found that strengthening cybersecurity in Algeria requires the development of a legal and regulatory framework that guarantees strict penalties against cybercrimes, which encourages compliance with laws and enhances data protection and digital infrastructure protection, and requires effective and comprehensive strategies to address cyber threats, in addition to strengthening international cooperation and exchanging expertise more effectively to ensure the stability of the digital system in Algeria
