Abstract

Abstract In the contemporary landscape of international relations, digital technologies have emerged as a pivotal force reshaping diplomatic practices, state interactions, and global governance. This paper explores the strategies adopted by nations to navigate the complexities introduced by digitalization, including cybersecurity, digital diplomacy, and the influence of social media on public opinion and policy-making. It examines the implications of these strategies on power dynamics, sovereignty, and international cooperation. By analyzing case studies of digital initiatives and their impact on bilateral and multilateral relations, the paper highlights both the opportunities and challenges posed by the digital age. Ultimately, it argues that a robust framework for digital governance is essential for fostering sustainable international relations in an increasingly interconnected world. الملخص باللغة العربية: في المشهد المعاصر للعلاقات الدولية، برزت التقنيات الرقمية كقوة محورية تعيد تشكيل الممارسات الدبلوماسية وتفاعلات الدولة والحوكمة العالمية. تستكشف هذه الورقة الاستراتيجيات التي اعتمدتها الدول للتغلب على التعقيدات التي أدخلتها الرقمنة، بما في ذلك الأمن السيبراني والدبلوماسية الرقمية وتأثير وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي على الرأي العام وصنع السياسات. وهو يدرس آثار هذه الاستراتيجيات على ديناميات السلطة والسيادة والتعاون الدولي. من خلال تحليل دراسات الحالة للمبادرات الرقمية وتأثيرها على العلاقات الثنائية والمتعددة الأطراف، تسلط الورقة الضوء على الفرص والتحديات التي يطرحها العصر الرقمي. في النهاية، يجادل بأن وجود إطار قوي للحوكمة الرقمية أمر ضروري لتعزيز العلاقات الدولية المستدامة في عالم مترابط بشكل متزايد.
