Contribution Of Financial Inclusion In Reducing Poverty In Algeria

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of financial inclusion on poverty rate in Algeria through using time series analysis that outline in ARDL model during the period 1980 up to 2019 depending on data disponibility , Algeria as all developing countries applicates financial reforms through financial liberation policy to realise high level of financial system development one from that access to different financial services that is financial inclusion.for measuring this effet we use household consumption as a proxy poverty rate ,financial institutions access index for financial inclusion ,and other explanority variables ( economic growth ,inflation and enemployment) . The results show that financial inclusion does not contribute to reduce poverty in Algeria,
