The Role Of Islamic Microfinance In Combating Poverty And Enhancing Financial Inclusion: The Case Of Sudan

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic microfinance in poverty alleviation and the enhancement of financial inclusion in Sudan. To achieve this objective, an analytical approach was employed, utilizing statistical data and tables derived from the Central Bank of Sudan’s reports up to 2024. The findings indicate that Islamic microfinance institutions serve as one of the most effective mechanisms for poverty reduction, financial inclusion, and the promotion of economic and social development in Sudan
