Poetic discourse is one of the most important expressive discourses rich in the hidden purposes of the speaker, seeking behind it to influence the recipient and to convince them to change their point of view or modify their behaviour, which makes it an excellent argumentative discourse. Thus, it became an important element of analytical critical studies. To this end, we approached the Ainiyah of the "Abdahibn at-Tabibb", attempting to reveal the demonstrations of the persuasive discourse in it following the pragmatic approach. This study revealed that the argumentative discourse in the Ainiyah of the "Abdahibn at-Tabibb" is a pre-planned discourse to influence his children and guide them, then convince them about the facts he wants, relying on a range of ways to lure them to his desired goal of the persuasive process. Its success depends on those mechanisms that establish the structure of the arguments, which perform the function of linking arguments between cases and arranging their degrees.
