:Abstract The speech of the Algerian Sufi poet has been distinguished since ancient times by its symbolic, indicative language, which is in line with the nature of his Sufi experience. No reader can reveal its contents, because it carries within it hidden meanings other than those understood in the apparent meaning of the word. From here arises the ambiguity in Sufi poetry, and here lies the beauty of the language. Sufism, and thus the reader of Sufi poetic discourse finds the extent of his need to be equipped with mechanisms to uncover what is behind the Sufi symbolic meaning, and in our ancient Algerian literature there are many examples that revealed the aesthetics of the language of Sufi discourse and the extent to which it is saturated with symbols. In it, the reader finds ample space to practice the process of interpretation in line with the nature of the Sufi experience. In order to emphasize this literary phenomenon, I chose poetic examples from the blog of the Algerian poet Afif al-Din al-Tilmisani, in which I focused on the symbols of women and wine, through which I tried, through description and analysis, to I reveal the extent to which our ancient Algerian literature was saturated with its Sufi models, which used symbols as a tool to express their attachment to the essence of God Almighty, in a language that could only be understood by those who knew the truth of Sufism and its philosophy according to the Algerian poet.
