It is recognized that crises favor the promotion of entrepreneurship in all its forms, including that with a social impact. Based on this finding, the present article highlights COVID-19 as a context that has contributed to the emergence and development of social entrepreneurship in the field of public health. We examine this within the framework of the associative fabric and particularly through the study of “United Algeria and Win Nelka” which are two civic organizations born and developed during Covid-19. The study of their journey and their activities revealed that the experiences they learned during the Covid-19 paved the way for them to undertake more robust and sustainable social projects in the field of public health, particularly in terms of ameliorating the conditions of precarious citizens to access to health services and the care system, in addition to educating citizens about dangerous diseases and ways to prevent them.
