Abstract

The press occupied a distinguished position in the development of the course of rights and freedoms over time, and played various roles in the development and advancement of contemporary societies, by defending the gains of human civilization. The technological development that the world is witnessing today significantly influenced the development of press, thus changing its dimensions, expanding its scope and multiplying its goals. In this study, I looked closely at the vulnerability of the press to technological development. إحتلت الصحافة مكانة متميزة في تطور مسار الحقوق والحريات عبر الزمن، وأدت أدوارا مختلفة في تطور ونهوض المجتمعات المعاصرة، من خلال الدفاع عن مكتسبات الحضارة الإنسانية، والعمل على ترقية الحقوق والحريات الفردية والجماعية. وبإعتبارها عنصرا مهما في عملية الإتصال، فقد تأثرت حرية الصحافة بشكل جوهري بالتطور التكنولوجي الكبير الذي يشهده العالم اليوم، ماأدى إلى تغيير مضمونها وأبعادها. نتطرق من خلال هذه المداخلة إلى دراسة واقع وأبعاد حرية الصحافة بين التقليد والحداثة.
