الملخص
من خلال هذه الدراسة نسعى إلى تسليط الضوء على عمارة الحمامات الرومانية في شمال إفريقيا، متخذين من الحمامات الجنوبية الكبرى لموقع جميلة (كويكول) نموذجا للدراسة التي سنتطرق فيها إلى إبراز موقع هذه المنشأة داخل المدينة وكذا تأريخها والحفريات التي جرت بها خلال القرن الماضي، ثم نستعرض بالتفصيل مخطط هذه الحمامات وتوزيع الفضاءات المكونة لها وكذا المحيط المرتبط به. وتكمن أهمية هذه الدراسة في الإجابة على بعض التساؤلات التي تخص بعض الأجزاء المشكلة لهذا المعلم ومعرفة مدى توافق هذا البناء مع المبادئ التي حددها المعماري فيتروفيوس ومحاولة إعطاء الحلول والاقتراحات للحفاظ على المعلم الأثري من التدهور والزوال. Through this study, we shed light on the architecture of the Roman thermal baths of North Africa, taking as a model the great southern thermal baths of the site of Djemila (Cuicul). We discuss the location of this installation within the city as well as its dating and the excavations that took place during the last century. We also highlight the plan of these Baths and the distribution of their constituent spaces, and the surrounding spaces. The importance of this study lies in answering some questions about some of the components of this monument and their compatibility with the principles established by the architect Vitruvius, while giving solutions and suggestions for the preservation of this archaeological monument and thus preventing its deterioration and disappearance.
