Public authorities in Algeria face several obstacles in their efforts to promote youth entrepreneurship. Key challenges include complex bureaucratic barriers and lengthy administrative processes, making it difficult to start and manage businesses. Additionally, limited access to funding, difficulties in securing loans, and a lack of venture capital hinder the growth of startups. The insufficient availability of entrepreneurship education programs prevents young people from acquiring the necessary skills, while cultural and social norms that favor stable public sector employment discourage innovation. Furthermore, rigid and inconsistent regulations, along with a lack of support networks and mentorship opportunities, limit young people's ability to connect with experienced entrepreneurs and investors. These challenges hinder the Algerian government's efforts to foster a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem among youth.
