The paper provides the main theoretical foundation by reviewing literature on ToM, language development, and social behaviour. It also outlines the research design, including data collection tools dealing with the population of 6-8-year-old children from Bougasmia El Djilali Elementary SchoolThe results indicate a significant correlation between ToM development and pragmatic skills in children, highlighting the importance of cognitive skills in effective communication within their social environment and it also showed how the latter plays a major role in shaping both pragmatic and theory of mind foundation.
