Résumé
El presente artículo tratará la presencia del pensamiento oriental en la obra narrativa del siglo XX, de Jorge Luis Borges. Entonces, a lo largo de este trabajo hablaremos del origen de la fuerte pasión de Jorge Luis Borges por la cultura árabe, que formó parte de su narrativa. Luego, abordaremos el papel que desempeñó Las Mil y una Noche en el cambio de su pensamiento y estilo literario. Además, analizaremos detalladamente su obra, El Aleph en la que se nota la presencia de la cultura árabe oriental. Por ello, nuestro objetivo es estudiar a través de qué, Borges tuvo contacto con el mundo oriental; cómo influyó la cultura de este mundo en su pensamiento y cómo la introdujo como elemento presente y constante en sus obras literarias. This article deals with the presence of oriental thought in the narrative work of the 20th century author Jorge Luis Borges. Throughout this work we will talk about the origin of Jorge Luis Borges strong passion for Arab culture, which part of his narrative. We will address the role that The Arabian Nights represented in changing his thought and narrative style. We will analyze in detail his work, The Aleph, in which the presence of the eastern Arab culture was noted. For this, our objective is to study why Borges had contact with the Eastern world, how the culture of this world influenced his thinking and how he introduced it as a present and constant element in his literary works.
