The Symbiotic Relationship Between University And Sustainable Development: Transitioning To A Green University Model

Abstract
The relationship between universities and sustainable development is crucial in a context where environmental and social challenges are increasingly pressing. Our study aims to elucidate the nature of this relationship and highlight the Green University model as a necessary answer to the fully integration of the sustainable development principles. To achieve this goal, we used the qualitative methodology based on documentary research. The results reveal a symbiotic win-win relationship between the university and sustainable development. And the transition to the Green University model requires institutional transformation using strategies to include sustainability into all the activities of the university.
