The Impact Of Strategic Planning On Employee Performance In Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Companies In Palestine.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect that strategic planning has on employee performance in Palestinian pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. A quantitative research approach was used in this study. Data was collected using questionnaire. A stratified random sampling technique was used and the study sample was (292) employees in four Palestinian pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. Structural equation modeling using SmartPLS4 was used to analyze the collected data. The results showed that strategic planning in Palestinian pharmaceutical companies is moderate with strategic decision making having the highest mean followed by strategic analysis followed by top management support and the lowest was Monitoring and Evaluation of the strategic plan. Employee performance in Palestinian pharmaceutical companies was moderate. And Strategic planning significantly impacts employee performance in Palestinian pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. Based on the results the study recommends that Palestinian pharmaceutical enterprises should improve their monitoring and assessment methods to ensure strategic plan implementation. And get employees involved. Employees should have platforms to share their knowledge and viewpoints. And top management should provide clear guidance, resources, and recognition to staff. And focus on strategic analysis. Train and develop their staff to increase skills and competences. And embrace continuous improvement and adaptation. Regularly assess strategy plans, staff metrics, and organizational procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement and make changes to stay aligned with shifting internal and external dynamics
