Abstract
The Algerian pharmaceutical sector has undergone profound transformation, characterized by growth in local production and the development of international partnerships. These advances have improved access to medicines and reduced dependency on imports. However, challenges remain, particularly in the area of specialized medications. This study explores the factors that have influenced this evolution and proposes avenues to strengthen the country’s pharmaceutical autonomy while ensuring optimal quality of care.
