Political Cohabitation And The Consequences On Institutions In The 2020 Constitution

الملخص
Political cohabitation designates a particular political situation in which executive power must be shared by the President of the Republic and a head of government of an opposing political tendency, the Algerian constitution of 2020 provides for this context in its article 103 and which stipulates that the government is headed by a prime minister when the legislative elections result in a presidential majority, and if these elections result in a parliamentary majority and therefore a non-presidential majority, the government will be led by a head of government from this majority , and under the terms of article 110 of this same constitution, the head of government will be responsible for forming his government and developing the program of this parliamentary majority.
