Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to highlight the benefits that industrial enterprises reap from adopting green innovation alongside implementing ISO 14001 in production or enhancement of products to meet the requirements of environmentally green consumers. This improves the environmental performance and the resource sustainability to achieve excellence and leadership. This is achieved by adopting a descriptive analytical approach in the study. So, we have found that integrating green innovation and ISO 14001 standards contributes to achieve sustainable leadership goals and gives enterprises a sustainable competitive advantage that ensures them an additional share in global markets enhancing their leading position. الملخص: تهدف الدراسة إلى إبراز الفوائد التي تجنيها المؤسسات الصناعية بتبنيها للابتكار الأخضر إلى جانب تطبيق معايير الـ ISO 14001 في إنتاج أو تحسين المنتجات لتلبية رغبات المستهلكين الخضر، وهذا ما يحسن الأداء البيئي واستدامة الموارد لتحقيق التميز والريادة، من خلال اعتماد المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في الدراسة، وقد توصلنا إلى أن دمج الابتكار الأخضر ومعايير ISO 14001 يساهم في تحقيق أهداف الريادة المستدامة كما يمنح المؤسسات ميزة تنافسية مستدامة تضمن لها حصة إضافية في الأسواق العالمية مما يعزز مكانتها الريادية
